Homak Plastic Tool Box for Home Use, 22-Inch, Black

Featuring a rugged plastic design, these hand-carry black toolboxes from Homak Manufacturing boast a secure bolt-on plastic carrying handle, a double-clasp system, and a lift-out plastic tray. Homak, founded in 1947 in Chicago by Sigmund H. Danziger, initially manufactured steel kitchen cabinets before expanding its product offerings in the 1960s to include a line of hardware products, such as toolboxes, tool cabinets, and other accessories. The "Homak" name was derived from a sign Sigmund saw on a hat store.

After Sigmund's passing in 1979, his wife, Gertrude, led the company for 25 years, during which time Homak extended its product line to include automotive, hospital, and sporting goods items. In 2005, Homak was acquired by JVA and relocated its offices to western Pennsylvania, where its facility now resides in the Wampum Underground Commerce Center.

Today, Homak's focus is on tool storage and gun cabinet security, offering a comprehensive product line that includes hand-carry toolboxes, tool bags, parts organizers, tool storage cabinets, workbenches, garage furniture, safety cabinets, spill containment systems, steel lockers, gun cabinets, fire-resistant safes, ammo storage boxes, and accessories.
